The Process of Crafting the Tanzanite Cocktail Ring

The Feature Stone
This project started when Gary Meaden purchased the centre 7ct Tanzanite stone, for its unique clarity, depth of colour and mesmerising cut.

The Design Concept
This beautiful stone was waiting for years until Gary Meaden formed the perfect ring design vision. It was over a year ago when a clear concept came to Gary’s mind. Then he only could begin the search for complimentary diamonds to ideally suit his opulent design idea.

The Ring Making
When all the stones arrived at our Auckland workshop, the ring making could start, directly from Gary’s mind. Contrary to most of our client projects, there were no design sketches or computer visualisations, nor 3D prints, but the entire hand-crafting process happened from Gary’s imagination.
The project progress was caught on photos below.
